Terms & conditions.
Clear terms for commissioning a new Araror and for any existing vehicle offered separately for sale.
Enquiring through this website does not place an order. Araror sources a new Sprinter for your agreed project; once its purchase is completed, you own the base vehicle and are registered as its first keeper. We then complete the agreed bespoke build. Before a contract is made, your written agreement will identify the seller and builder, specification, price, taxes, payment stages and expected handover arrangements.
Who you are dealing with
Araror Bespoke Sprinters creates bespoke Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicles. Your written quotation and order confirmation will identify the business responsible for the vehicle sale and the bespoke build.

These website terms describe our usual approach. Your signed or accepted vehicle agreement will set out the details of your particular order. Nothing on this page limits rights that the law gives a consumer.
A new Sprinter sourced for your project
For a new Araror commission, we source a new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and arrange its design and build around your agreed brief. We do not accept vehicles that clients have bought and supplied independently. After the new base Sprinter has been sold to you through the agreed process, it belongs to you while we complete its bespoke interior.
Photographs, illustrations, design concepts and descriptions show examples of possibilities. The features included in your vehicle will be set out in its agreed written specification. We will agree important matters such as the base vehicle, seating, layout, materials, equipment, luggage provision and any regulatory requirements before the relevant work is carried out.
Any change to an agreed specification, price or delivery arrangement must be discussed and confirmed in writing. Where a proposed change is needed for safety, legal compliance or technical feasibility, we will explain it and agree the appropriate way forward with you.
Price and staged payments
Your written quotation will separate the new Sprinter, the bespoke interior and any other agreed costs. It will show VAT, the total price, the timing and purpose of each payment, and the expected handover arrangements. A typical commission has the following stages, with the exact amounts and dates confirmed before you order:
- Order deposit: An initial payment, which may be around £10,000, when the vehicle order and agreed brief are accepted. We will identify what this payment is allocated to before you pay it.
- Base vehicle payment: A new Sprinter may take approximately six to ten weeks to arrive, although manufacturer lead times vary. Before the vehicle can be released for the build, the outstanding amount for the base Sprinter may become payable. We will confirm the vehicle invoice, amount and due date in writing.
- Interior payment: We may ask for a separate payment towards seats, materials or other items that must be ordered early for your particular design. The amount and the items to be ordered will be stated in writing.
- Final balance: The remaining agreed amount, normally the final 10% of the total completed-vehicle price, will be due on handover as specified in your written agreement.
Once the base Sprinter purchase is completed, the vehicle is yours and will be registered in your name as its first keeper. The sale paperwork will identify the vehicle, including its VIN when available, and record the point at which ownership passes. Being named as registered keeper is separate from evidence of ownership.
If the base Sprinter is £90,000 plus VAT and the bespoke conversion is £60,000 plus VAT, the stages could be £10,000 initial deposit credited towards the base vehicle, £80,000 base vehicle balance, £45,000 paid towards the conversion as agreed, and £15,000 final balance on handover. These figures total £150,000 before VAT. The initial deposit is part of the price, not an extra charge. The actual VAT invoices, amounts and due dates will be set out in your own agreement.
We will provide invoices or receipts for payments received. If you request a material change after agreeing the specification, we will explain any effect on price or timing and obtain your agreement before proceeding with that change.
Timings and care of your vehicle
We will give you an expected timetable in your written agreement and keep you informed of significant changes. The timing of a new vehicle can depend on Mercedes-Benz supply, parts, specialist work and the timing of design approvals. A revised date will be discussed with you if the original plan changes.
After you become owner of the base vehicle, it will normally remain in the care of the build team for the agreed conversion. The written agreement will explain insurance and responsibility for the vehicle while it is stored, worked on, moved or tested. Ownership and registration do not, by themselves, remove any legal duties relating to its care.
We will agree completed-vehicle handover arrangements with you, including the location, documentation and opportunity to inspect it. Your legal rights concerning delivery, conformity and any delay remain unaffected.
If plans change during a build
A new Sprinter can be ordered before work begins on its interior, and seats or other parts may also be ordered early for a specific design. If you wish to cancel, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can establish what has already been ordered, paid for or completed and what costs can still be avoided.
Before the base vehicle sale is completed, any permitted cancellation charge will be assessed against reasonable net losses caused by cancellation. We will take account of supplier cancellation charges and costs already incurred, less costs saved or amounts reasonably recovered. We will provide a clear breakdown. An order deposit is not automatically forfeited, and there is no automatic percentage cancellation charge.
Once you have bought the base Sprinter, it remains your vehicle if the conversion project stops. We will discuss a safe and practical handover in its then-current condition, subject to any agreed conversion charges and legal or technical requirements. If you want us to help arrange a resale or buy-back, that would require a separate written agreement. We will not sell a vehicle that belongs to you without your authorisation.
For bespoke interior work and items already ordered for your brief, any permitted cancellation charge will reflect reasonable net losses, with credit for costs avoided and value reasonably recovered. The individual order agreement will explain these stages in advance.
Distance and off-premises consumer contracts may carry statutory cancellation rights. An exception can apply to goods genuinely made to a consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised, but ordering a product assembled from standard options does not automatically remove those rights. We will explain the applicable position for your transaction before the contract is made. Nothing here removes your rights if a vehicle is faulty or does not match its agreed description.
Ex-demo and fleet vehicle sales
From time to time, an existing or ex-demo Araror may be offered for sale. Such a vehicle is separate from a new bespoke commission. Its own listing and written sale agreement will state its age, registration, mileage, condition, included equipment, price, VAT position, any warranty offered and handover arrangements.
An existing vehicle is sold on its own agreed description. Any manufacturer or additional warranty will be identified in writing. A warranty does not replace statutory consumer rights.
Problems and warranties
Please contact us promptly if you believe the vehicle differs from its agreed specification or develops a fault. We will review the issue with you and explain how any applicable manufacturer warranty, agreed build warranty and statutory rights apply.
We do not exclude or restrict a consumer’s legal remedies through a short notification deadline. Any extra warranty we offer will be described in the specific sale documents.
Images, information and personal data
Website material is provided to introduce Araror’s work. A design image may be illustrative and may show an earlier or individual vehicle specification. Availability, price and included equipment are confirmed in writing for each vehicle.
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, photographs, drawings, text and design material on this website may not be reproduced commercially without permission. Personal information submitted through an enquiry is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
