Luxury Travel demands in 2024
With the demands for luxury travel ever increasing and the need for first class transportation in 2024. We look into the reasons why VIP travel has changed. Exploring the new trends in global travel.
The market for exclusive first class travel has boomed in the last decade. So with companies trying to keep up with clients expectations and exceed them. It has become an ever evolving market place.
So from Airplane companies to Hotels, the top ones are forever looking at updating and enhancing their services.
As an example.
Cathay Pacific announced it will recommence first class service from New York City’ to Hong Kong in 2024. The first class experience will include dinning options, bespoke wellness and sleep-enhancing amenities. All in a private suite on the plane. Their first class seats transform into one of the widest fully flat beds available. This really is a commitment to providing the ultimate luxury travel.
Space and Wellness
Space and wellness has never been so important in the high end luxury travel industry. Clients now require the finest facilities, from comfort to well being.
Seats need to be luxurious and even convert to beds. They demand service and of course all the comfort trimmings. So cosy blankets, neck supports come as standard. Even massaging seats, with heated and cooling facilities.
This is first class comfort. Space has always equalled luxury. So the more space you have in your hotel room and around you on a plane. The higher price you will pay for the privilege.
Also with this price tag comes expectations. Unlimited premium drinks, toiletries and food. For example, you would never see a plastic water bottle in a high class hotel.
So brands supplied also play a major role. No budget ones here, just the finest and bespoke one’s to complete the luxurious feeling.
Hotel expectations
Are all 5 star hotels the same? So from experience in staying in many around the world in suites.
No, is the answer. Having stayed in say the second top suite in a hotel once. I was shocked on day 2 that the water had not been replenished in our suite.
So later passing by reception and concierge I mentioned it. To my astonishment I was told we only get 1 bottle each per stay. So whether we stayed 1 night or 10, our entitlement was 1 bottle each.
So, the suite was out of this world (costing over 2.5k for 3 nights) with its views across Venice. Very spacious at 67m2 and fitted out very very well.
However my whole luxurious expectation of the Hotel was killed. Seriously 2 bottles of water a day costing maybe tops £2 are not included. So for the stake of £4, the Hotel chain has lost a repeat customer.
This helps to define customer expectation and the consequences of getting it wrong. Also that luxury 5 star has so many different levels of service.
The Birth of the VIP Mini bus and luxury travel
So years ago the stretched limousine ruled the VIP luxury travel market. Anybody who was anybody travelled in them and they became the must to be seen in.
Over the last decade has seen the rise of the VIP min bus and mini coach. Maybe the above as been a major contributor. The demand for more space and luxury.
So from seating around a bar area cramped together on a bench seat. Drinking from plastic cups, seems almost unthinkable for todays first class clients.
We are proud to be at the forefront at Araror luxury Sprinter conversions. So we fully understand the demands and requirements of first class travel.
So creating luxurious, spacious vehicles for travel. Being equipped in mind for your well being and luxury comfort. So vehicles you could party on, sleep on or even have a business meeting.
Travelling for hours has never been so much fun and so comfortable. Whether relaxing with a massage, catching up with the latest news and TV. Maybe even overnight travel with your feet up and seat reclined fast asleep.
First class road transport travel has never been so good.
